The story behind Beaumonts

My working life began at just 15, when I entered an engineering apprenticeship. I went on to spend around twenty years working in engineering and fabrication, where I learned the importance of accuracy, problem-solving and, above all, doing a job properly.

Later, I took a very different direction and retrained in high-end gentlemen's grooming, eventually running my own barbershop. Although it might seem a world away from gardening, it taught me something equally important: great service isn't simply about the job you do. It's about understanding people, listening to what they want and creating an experience they genuinely value.

Eventually, my love of being outdoors brought everything together.

What began as Green Space Rehab gradually developed into something much bigger. As the business grew and the range of work expanded, Beaumonts Home & Garden was born.

Today, Beaumonts combines those different experiences — engineering practicality, craftsmanship, attention to detail, creativity and personal service — with a genuine love of gardens and outdoor living.

We don't want to be another company that simply arrives, completes a list of jobs and leaves.

We want to understand how you use your garden, what you want it to become and how we can improve it over time. Sometimes that means maintaining what you already have. Sometimes it means improving a particular area. And sometimes it means gradually working towards a much bigger vision.

Our approach is simple: care about the work, communicate properly, don't cut corners and treat every garden as though our name depends on it — because it does.

Beaumonts is growing, but the intention is to grow carefully. We want to retain the personal service and trust that built the business in the first place while gradually expanding what we can offer our customers across the home and garden.

For us, a beautiful garden isn't just about how it looks.

It's about creating somewhere you genuinely enjoy spending time.
